BioWelcome to my Strangetown journal. Here you can read stories about the lives and loves of its inhabitants and their adventures to La Fiesta Tech University and nearby Simchester.
I'm Em, and I live in the city of Manchester in England. My flat is within walking distance of making the most of everything the city has to offer, but far enough away to feel secluded from it all. I'm a freelance writer by trade. I work for both Yelp Manchester and Media Magazine at the moment (an academic rag for college students and their teachers).
A bit more real-life stuff - I have a wonderful partner with a beautiful Swedish name. He's a professional musician and the hardest working man I know. We're total opposites and the best of friends, and we both have great families. I consider myself a very lucky girl indeed.
I love The Sims 2 for two main reasons - one, the fun of creating and whiling away the hours playing, and two, the storytelling potential. I didn't realise so many communities existed to showcase this very thing. And fair play to the creators, I'm a massive fan of the Maxis-made families. I think it's all unbelievably clever. And Strangetown is my favourite hood.
I've recently discovered a lot of great storytellers here... I'm friending you as I type! I'll post links to my favourite custom content and all that jazz when I've put together all my resources. Meanwhile, thanks for taking the time to stop by. :)
